About Debony

Debony Burrowes

Debony Burrowes is a senior operations leader with 15+ years of experience building and leading marketing, go-to-market, and business operations.

I’ve always been drawn to what happens between the idea and the result.

I started my career at Dun & Bradstreet, helping Fortune 500 clients use data, insights, and tools to make better decisions across sales, marketing, finance, procurement, and technology.

That experience taught me how to work across the business, not just inside one function.

Alongside my corporate work, I founded SOTAC Magazine, turning an idea into a publication and building the organization around it.

Those experiences left me with a question I kept coming back to:

Over time, I took on larger, more complex operations.

At The New York Times, I led and scaled a 90+ person global subscriber retention operation.

At SoundCloud, I built the company’s first global Marketing Operations function and led go-to-market operations.

At Etsy, I led Creative Operations, built the company’s first global Marketing Operations function, and integrated the two into one global organization.

Across those roles, the work changed, but what I was there to do stayed the same: not simply manage what existed, but build, scale, and strengthen what the organization needed next.

Why DSB Advisory Group

DSB Advisory Group is where I bring that experience to leaders who need to make complex work easier to run.

That same interest in how leaders plan, make decisions, and lead through change is also shaping the leadership coaching work I’m developing.
